Through an architectural design, an Intelligent Video Surveillance (IVS) system can automatically detect threats and broadcast real-time alerts and video without human intervention. This system includes either a day/night or low light imager providing effective 24 hour operation in poor light conditions. The day/night camera witches from color to monochrome when light conditions fall under minimum lighting specifications and the low light imager can detect objects with as little as .0001 lx illumination. These IP enabled, intelligent cameras are housed in either an IP66 polycarbonate housing or, for more rugged deployment, in an IP67 Aluminum housing enabling effective intelligent video surveillance in harsh operating environments. Either intelligent IP camera model can be deployed in an Ethernet wired or 802.11 wireless configuration for greater network flexibility.
